Cloud Security Architecture Review and Assessments

Cloud Security Architecture Review

With the transition to the cloud, there has been a notable rise in security incidents involving cloud platforms and services. This engagement is an independent assurance review for security in infrastructure migrations or new starts in IaaS and PaaS deployments against the Cloud Security Alliance’s Cloud Control Matrix and cloud service provider guidance and blueprints. This review focuses on Internet facing exposure surfaces and the ability of the organization to detect and respond to security incidents arising in the cloud environment. Appian assesses the security controls for Azure, AWS, GCP and other cloud service implementations to support trust and reliability of cloud environments, including multi-cloud hybrid environments.

Application Security Architecture Review

Service orientated review and threat modeling for application deployments or major upgrades and the identification of application architecture level controls. This may include the deployment of SaaS and externally connected systems to ensure that risks and controls are properly designed and implemented. This also includes continuous development / continuous integration (CI/CD) pipeline architectures, containers, serverless environments, and microservices security.
